Google Chrome Aw Snap Fix

Google Chrome Aw Snap Fix
A very annoying issue on your browser is crashing or not responding and on Google Chrome the error is called AW SNAP with a funny looking crashing picture icon. The browser will not respond then it will turn into a black screen with an icon and a message "Aw, Snap! Something went wrong while displaying this webpage. To continue, reload or go to another page. Reload. If you're seeing this frequently, try these suggestions."
Google Chrome will give you suggestions:

Chrome Suggested Fix

  1. Check Anti-virus and firewall.
  2. Check your extensions and user scripts
  3. Check for malware.
  4. Create a new user profile.

The suggested fix might resolved the issue but in case after all trying the steps and still getting the aw, snap error you can try the troubleshooting that I have.
The extension and user scripts - Check or manage the extension and here is how to check it. Under tools >> click on extension to show the list of add on. removing or disabling the add on can help you find out what causes the aw, snap error
The user profile and or the the user account- User profile for Google
Exit Google Chrome completely.

Enter the keyboard shortcut Windows key  +E to open Windows Explorer.
In the Windows Explorer window that appears enter the following in the address bar.
Windows XP: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\

Windows Vista/ Windows 7/ Windows 8: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\

Locate the folder called "Default" in the directory window that opens and rename it as "Backup default."

Try opening Google Chrome again. A new "Default" folder is automatically created as you start using the browser. Creating the profile will reset the browser to factory default.

Windows Account
Creating account on windows will not just create the profile for chrome but the whole Windows account profile. The new user account for windows will determined if its other program that are causing the aw, snap error
